Journey: Fort-Dauphin Lokaro Andohaela Berenty. 8 days/7 nights
Day 1 : Tulear - Fort-dauphin
- Arrival and reception at Fort-Dauphin airport then transfer to the hotel
- Welcome cocktail party, morning idleness and lunch at the hotel
- Programme: visit to Flacourt camp, then to Saadi botanic garden. This park is a true sanctuary of the nature for it shelters several endemic kinds of fauna flora such as tridre palm trees, nepenthes , elephant ears, pachypodium, crocodiles, lemurs, and birds.
- Back for dinner and a bed-night at the hotel
Day 2 : Fort-Dauphin Lokaro excursions
- Breakfast at the hotel then transfer to the wharf for a ballad by ship on the Lanirano big lake and its rivers, lined by Mangrove swamp.
- Visit to the 1st village of Evatra. Picnic lunch on the side of the lake. In the afternoon, ballad through dunes.
- Back to Fort-Dauphin at the end of the afternoon
- Dinner and bed-night at the hotel
Day 3 : Fort Dauphin Jurassique Cirque
- Breakfast at the hotel, start for 160Km track. It is the transition between the rainy and the dry zone of Fort-Dauphin where customers will see endemic plants of the deep South of Madagascar (baobab, succulent plants, tridre palm trees) as well as numerous lizards and lemurs which live in the cirque.
- Picnic lunch on the way
- Back to the city for dinner and bed-night at the hotel.
Jour 4 : Fort Dauphin Nahampona
- Breakfast at the hotel,
- Transfer by car to Nahampona reserve which is situated at 7Km from Fort-Dauphin. Ballad in the forest to discover the very rich and diversified fauna and flora of the South, among which 6 species of lemurs, turtles, crocodiles, chameleons.
- Picnic lunch on the spot.
- Then back to the city and the end of the afternoon for dinner and a night at the hotel.
Day 5 : Fort dauphin Parc Andohaela
Season to be avoided : January and December, too hot
- Breakfast at the hotel,
- tart to visit Tsimelatry site by car, it is heavenly forest for ecotourism for you can admire the life of birds and reptiles in the natural environment: as well a the natural swimming-pool.
- Picnic lunch on the spot.The continuation to visit the dry forest of Madagascar. There you have another landscape embellished by lemurs and didieracea
- Back to the city and a night at the hotel.
Day 6 : Fort dauphin Berenty
- Breakfast at the hotel, start to Berenty at 90 km from Fort Dauphin.
- On the way, you will discover the distinctive feature of Anosy region: traditional village, culture of sugar cane, cassava and rice fields and particulary sisal plantations.
- Independent lunch to taste the region speialities.
- In the afternoon, visit to Antandroy village, then to art museum and art tradition.
- Back to the hotel for dinner.
- Nocturnal visit of the reserve as soon as night fall (optional).
- A bed night at the Gte of Berenty.
Day 7 : Berenty Fort dauphin
- Breakfast at the hotel,
- Visit to the private hotel reserve.
- Return by car toward Fort- Dauphin after lunch.
- Installation at the and free afternoon
- Dinner and a night at the hotel.
Day 8 : Fort dauphin Antananarivo
- Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to airport then flight to Tna with good recollections of Fort-Dauphin.
