Journey: Paris Antananarivo Antsirabe Manakara Ranomafana - Ranohira Tulear - Antananarivo Paris

Duration : 11 days / 10 nights.

Day 1 : Paris ANTANANARIVO

• Arrival at Ivato airport by flight AF908 at 10.50pm, reception and transfer to the hotel.
• Night and breakfast at the hotel.

Day 2 : ANTANANARIVO ANTSIRABE (162Km)

• After breakfast, departure to Antsirabe,
• Stop at Ambatolampy to visit a traditional foundry for kitchen utensils
• Independent breakfast an the spot to taste the culinary specialities of the region
• Continuation then arrival in Antsirabe at the end of the afternoon.
• Installation for a half-board bed-night at the hotel.

Jour 3 : ANTSIRABE FIANARANTSOA

• Breakfast at the hotel, start for a city tour by rickshaw then visit to a handcraft workshop making miniature bicycles and motos, embroidery, confectionery.
• Continuation to Ambositra: the Malagasy capital of the afternoon. Installation at the hotel.
• Dpart pour Fianarantsoa que vous attendriez en fin d aprs midi. Installations lhtel.
• Half-board night at the hotel.

Day 4 : FIANARANTSOA MANAKARA

• Early breakfast at the hotel, transfer by car to Fianarantsoa railway station..
• Start for Manakara by train through tropical forest and cascades of the south east of Madagascar.
• Picnic lunch on the way.
• Arrival at manakara at the end of the afternoon. Reception at the railway station then transfer to the hotel for dinner and bed-night.

Day 5 : MANAKARA

• After lunch at the hotel, transfer by car to the landing stage for a tour by canoe on the Pangalane Canal. White admiring typical sites and the Malagasy fishermens everyday occupation on the Indian Ocean. You will have a nice sensation that the time stopped.
• Picnic lunch on the spot. A rest and idleness on the beach in the afternoon.
• Back to hotel at the end of the afternoon for dinner and a bed-night.

Day 6 : MANAKARA RANOMAFANA

• Breakfast at the hotel,
• Return by car toward Ranomafana, visit to forgeries on the way.
• Installing at the hotel. Independent lunch on the spot. In the afternoon guided visit of Ranomafana park. Back to hotel at the end of the afternoon..
• Half-board night at the hotel.

Day 7 : RANOMAFANA RANOHIRA

• Breakfast at the hotel before starting for Fianarantsoa,
• Visit to the city upper part and panorama of the lower one.
• Continuation to Ambalavao, visit to workshops making Antemoro paper, independent breakfast on the spot
• Start for a visit to ANJA Lemursreserve directed by the village community.
• Way to Ranohira, installing at the hotel for dinner and a bed-night.

Day 8 : RANOHIRA

• Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the entrance of Isalo Park.
• Trek start then a stroll through the massif Isalo.
• Back to the village for independent lunch then visit to the Monkey canyon in the afternoon.
• Live the melancholic sunset at Fentre de l Isalo (isalo window)
• Back to the hotel for dinner and bed-night.

Day 9 : RANOHIRA TULEAR- IFATY

• Breakfast at the hotel, then start for Tulear passing by Ilakaka a well-known region for the exploitation of a precious stone saphir .
• Arrival at Tular by noon and independent lunch in a restaurant with local speciality.
• City tour and visit to the arboretum.
• In the afternoon, continuation till Ifaty
• Half-board lodging at the hotel

Day 10 : IFATY : Ifaty seaside day

• Breakfast at the hotel
• Independent seaside day (bathe, tour by canoe, or excursion by ship).
• Independent lunch
• Dinner and night at the hotel after admiring the magnificent sunset on the beach.

Day 11 : IFATY-ANTANANARIVO

• Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport then flight to Tan by Air Madagascar.
